world. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate,
verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together,
exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze
performance, and make sure our products work the first time and
every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures,
debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test
environments, and work together with our customers. The Engineering
Prototyping & Fabrication department is seeking Mechanical
Prototyping Inspection Technicians to work in an engineering
environment to co-develop engineering hardware in accordance with
customer and internal requirements, as well as industry standards.
Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined design teams
across multiple projects to bring design concepts to fruition,
providing rapid engineering, fabrication, and prototyping solutions
throughout the entire product lifecycle. This position is an onsite
role.Travel expectation would be approximately 20% but can
fluctuate depending on needs of the business.What You Will Do
- Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware from
drawings, 3D models, written notes, and verbal instruction
- Co-developing electro-mechanical and mechanical
assemblies.
- Assessing designs, ensuring producibility, maintainability,
safety and reliability
- Provide support and feedback to the Engineering development
team.What You Will Learn

- Cross-functional collaboration with operations and various
engineering disciplines Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires Associate of Arts or Associate of Science
degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum
of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with mechanical, quality standards, processes,
and/or documentation.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, and/or
rework.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued
security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as
only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Ability to Obtain and maintain an Alcohol, tobacco, Firearms
and Explosives Access (ATF). Qualifications We Prefer:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Verification and inspection experience with associated
standards, processes, and/or documentation.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting drawings to identify
producibility issues.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to use good judgement
and to work independently or collaboratively in an engineering
environment.
- IPC 610 & 620 Acceptability certifications and inspection

this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is
a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
