Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; bachelor's degree is preferredExperience: A minimum of 1 year of DOC/Med Surg experience as a Licensed RN with demonstrated technical proficiencyResponsibilities As an RN Charge in our DOC/Med Surg Department, you'll be the driving force that transforms patient care into an unforgettable experience. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborate hand-in-hand with the nurse manager/director, orchestrating the coordination, direction, and evaluation of patient care, unit activities, and staff performance during your shift. Craft patient assignments that respect individual needs, growth trajectories, and development by using your deep understanding of the nursing processManage clinical and non-clinical activities on the unit in absence of the unit manager/director.Foster a seamless flow of information among team members and others.Lead the charge in elevating patient care outcomes; dive into improvement initiatives by offering your insights and energy to drive positive change.
