Job Description:

The Inspector I will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections and prepare related documentation of overall vehicle condition in support of the processing and sale of client/customer consigned vehicles in lane and online.

*Location: 7090 S Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ

*Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts

• Verify vehicle identification and enter accurate vehicle information into the inspection system limited to correct VIN, mileage, and sub series
• Inspect vehicle equipment and options, documenting results including damage, missing or inoperable items.
• Inspect and record vehicle exterior condition, including but not limited to tires, frame, glass, panels, and
• mechanical components.
• Inspect and record the vehicle interior condition, including but not limited to seats, dashboard, and options.
• Complete and verify data entry in support of documentation of vehicle condition.
• Perform and document post sale inspections (PSI) and walk around inspections in support of online vehicle exchange (OVE) process.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to crouch, bend, and kneel to look at side or underneath car. Strength to lift hood or trunk.
• Bend while performing audits. Reach inside or underneath vehicle.
• Other duties as needed or required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimal knowledge of automotive body & mechanical work
  • 0-1 years of body shop, mechanical, claims adjuster, or estimating experience
  • Must pass Inspector Certification Exam within 90 days
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required Preferred Qualifications:

            USD 13.08 - 19.62 per hour
            
            Compensation:
            
            Hourly base pay rate is $13.08 - $19.62/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

            Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
