    • Job Requirements
    • At least 2 years of experience for B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry & Neuro
    • At least 2 years of experience for B3B - CHF Telemetry
    • EKG monitoring skill required
    • Must be able to interpret EKGs
      • Schedule Information
      • Self Scheduling, 12 hr shifts. 7-7
      • Every other weekend
      • 2 major holidays, 2 minor depending on contract dates
      • No 'On Call' requirement, SB dependent on fluctuating census
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry & Neuro
        • Unit B3B - CHF Telemetry - 30 beds, BLS, ACLS
        • Ratios: 1:3-4
        • Ability to titrate drips is required
        • Common titratable &/or set rate drips like cardiac, heparin, Lasix, bumex, etc.
        • Charge Nurse/Manager present without patient assignments
        • RNs required to interpret EKGs
        • Nurse aids/PCTs on unit
        • Centralized tele. with the requirement for RNs to read their own strips
        • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: CHF and general Telemetry, Fluid overload, SOB, arrhythmias, ETOH, etc.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
          • Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position - 2 MAXIMUM ATTEMPTS, ONLY
          • There is a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation
          • Floating to any telemetry floor required, could float to sister facility Mercy Gilbert
          • Unit/Department specific orientation for 2 days on the floor
