  • THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
  • The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and AZ license or compact license (TNCC is preferred).
  • Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed.
  • Flexibility is a must.
  • Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
  • There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions).
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.

    • Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and AZ license or compact license (TNCC is preferred)
    • Pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts
    • Pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation
      • Schedule Information
      • Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage.
      • Self scheduling. Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs.
      • 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday, Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday
      • May have 1 holiday off in an assignment
      • No additional call/standby shifts required. However, may be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed.
        • Float to tele with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio as needed
        • Navy scrub color/dress code
        • 1-2 days unit/department specific orientation
        • Will validate skills for trauma, neuro and specialty devices as needed

          • Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV
          • UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE of a position
          • Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV
