• Certification Details
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Pass dysrhythmia exam with 2 max attempts
• Pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation
  • Job Details
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience (including Neuro experience).
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA.
  • Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
  • There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions).
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience (including Neuro experience)
    • Active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact
    • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
      • Every other weekend for shifts.
      • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer
      • Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: D4 Neuro
        • Beds: 28 bed
        • Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
        • Ratios: 1:3-4
        • Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role.
        • Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients.
        • Scrub Color: Navy
        • Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.
        • Vents: No
        • IV Team: No
        • RT 24/7: Yes
        • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
        • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
        • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA.
        • Additional Notes: No ICP monitoring.;EOW; first to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert
          • Additional Details
          • COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate documentation).
          • Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field.
          • Study materials will be provided with first day instructions, so travelers are up to date on proper sterile techniques.
