We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in designing, developing, and testing a variety of cutting-edge systems, including advanced imaging, LIDAR, SONAR, and motion control/pointing technologies.This position focuses on hands-on development and fabrication of prototypes and new designs. You will work closely with the engineering team to assemble initial designs and contribute to improving their reliability, producibility, and ruggedness by recommending and implementing enhancements. Additionally, you will design and fabricate harnesses and cabling to integrate into various systems. This is an non-exempt, non-supervisory, full-time role based in our Tucson, AZ office.


Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and fabricate prototype equipment.
Recommend and implement design improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
Design and build harnesses and cabling for advanced systems.
Conduct hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and integration of systems.
Collaborate with the team to integrate and test new equipment in-house, in the field, and at testing laboratories.
