Job Title: Senior Accountant
OverviewSOURCE Global is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for general ledger activities, developing processes and procedures, and technical accounting. The candidate must have strong communication, technical and analytical skills. This position will work in a dynamic and ever-changing, complex environment.
In this role, you will:

• Assist with determining proper revenue recognition for various revenue streams.
• Perform technical accounting research and preparation of corresponding accounting memos, including the adoption of new accounting pronouncements.
• Review and/or establish financial policies and procedures, including process maps.
• Assist with month-end close to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Perform detailed account analysis.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages to lenders and investors.
• Prepare/review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proactively find solutions and create best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and GAAP.
• Work closely with shared service center in Malaysia.
• Prepare annual financial statements and footnotes in accordance with GAAP.
• Work closely with external auditors.
• Ad hoc projects as necessary.

  • Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
  • Understanding of consolidations and eliminations.
  • Experience in performing technical accounting research and preparation of accounting memos.
  • Possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate general accounting information to internal and external customers, including non-financial executives.
  • Be able to build relationships across the company.
  • Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Acumatica ERP system.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Three years of experience, preferably in public accounting or with a publicly traded company.
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA preferred).
    • Organized, highly motivated and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Ability to identify business challenges and opportunities and develop and suggest solutions independently.
    • High level of professionalism and positive demeanor.
    • Working extended hours as needed.
